Jackie is the founder of Beauty, Brains and Heart. She established this trademark business after many years of being involved with pageantry and the performing arts as a means to promote positive family fun events and at the same time being able to give back to the community that she has been involved extensively with her entire life. She enjoys getting her queens out to appearances and helping with charitable organizations and their fundraising efforts. She is the founder and editor of BBH Magazine and Benevolent Beauties Magazine as well as the creator of the Benevolent Heart Award sponsored by BBH. She is a former state director for the Pennsylvania U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant where she was voted Director of the year for 2015 and now remains involved with U.S.A. Ambassador through sponsorship and acts as a liaison for the system. She directs the Miss BBH Pageant, Pennsylvania's Heart Inspired and Beautiful Pageant, Pennsylvania's Benevolent Miss Pageant, Miss American Liberty Pageant and is proud to host an annual Holiday Charity Pageant for the benefit of Toys for Tots. She has organized and directed many other pageants: Miss Pennsylvania U.S.A. Ambassador, Pennsylvania's Perfect Jr. Teen/Teen/Miss and Woman, Pennsylvania's Little Miss Perfect and Pennsylvania's Perfect Princess. She was also the Pennsylvania Coordinator for the 2009 U.S. Beauties Crowning Ceremony.
Extremely active within her community she has worked with many charitable organizations: Breast Cancer Foundation, Zero Prostate Cancer, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Mt. Lion Backpack, Coats for Kids, Arthritis Foundation, Operation Our Town, United Way, Easter Seals, Mending Hearts, Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, Aid for Animals-Laws for Paws, ASPCA, Humane Society of the United States, Altoona Area Public Library, Roaring Spring Library, Hollidaysburg Area Public Library and Queenz for Kidz. She gives freely of her time to serve on many boards and fundraising committees. She has received awards of recognition from the Central PA Humane Society, Arthritis Foundation and the United Way (Day of Caring Program) and serves on the board of a non-profit organization as well as being a member of the Women's Club of Altoona and the Altoona Area Business Community. She has appeared on Central PA Live with Dawn Pellas and KC O'Day, an episode of Jersey Couture, was seen on an episode of Little Miss Perfect and did an interview segment for Pageant Lounge TV as well as written numerous articles for magazines.
Jackie is the former owner and artistic director of the "Music In Motion" Arts Center having operated a very successful dance and twirling studio for over 40 years, as well as instructing and directing Jackie's Rhythm Pacers Award-Winning Majorettes, Color Guard and Drum Corps. She has done choreography for many school musicals and events including a show put on by the London School of Cosmetology as well as getting the opportunity to perform and model for that event. She is a former Dance Arts Instructor at Penn Mont Academy for several of their summer sessions and organized student showcase performances for them. Also, in her younger years she worked part time as a hair and face model.
